Another Beautiful Piece

Grunt Stash Woodwork and I put together another amazing piece. His former supervisor asked him if he could build a plaque for a co-worker that is leaving his current position. He jumped on it and asked if I wouldn't mind working with him on it. Of course, I said yes. It's always a pleasure working with him. Anyway, he put together the slab for the plaque, and I'm just going to say, if I wasn't a woodworker I couldn't have told you it was two pieces put together. He's so good at laminating boards together, it's almost impossible to see the seem, and I know what I'm looking for/at. Anyway, he did the slab and the engraving while I knocked out the emblems up top. Together we worked out proper placement and mounting of the pistol. At the end of the day, this is a great piece, put together by a couple of dudes that seem to know what they're doing. It was fun, it turned out great and I can't wait for the next project that brings us together to make some sawdust.
